Radley Yeldar |
We helped Radley Yeldar win a pitch to produce an animation for the Science Museum in London. The film was to serve as a promotional tool advertising the museum’s education programme available to schools and colleges and be the catalyst behind a social media campaign.
Our aim was to pose the question ‘what our lives would be without science?’ and to tell the stories behind the vast wealth of exhibits on show in the museum. With a rich and varied tapestry of historical and scientific imagery to work with, we decided to design and animate each object’s story in different styles. From the creation of the colour purple, to the earliest steam engine, to the first apple computer, our film is a mirror to the diversity of the exhibits that are on show in the Science museum. The episodic nature of the film allowed us to extract short ‘blips’ for use in social media.
