Octopus energy approached Other Creative to develop concepts for their new multi-platform campaign and ‘Giant Bill’ was born. The campaign was led by a VFX heavy television commercial in which a family are hounded by unexpectedly large energy bills in the form of an annoyingly huge paper bill monster. The mother decides to obliterate the problem fantastically with her mobile phone ray gun and in reality by switching to Octopus Energy. The music, voiceover, grade and typography all help complete the B-movie look and feel.
The commercial was directed by Substance and roughcollie developed Bill and additional VFX and graphics.
