In Late June, S4C broadcast a week of live programmes reenacting and celebrating the journey of the last drover in Wales. Ifan Jones Evans, assumed the role and with his dogs, delivered a flock of rebellious sheep 100 miles from Machynlleth to Brecon. Each evening, Shan Cothi hosted a live event, organised by Mr Producer, again faithful to the period and location to herald their arrival at stages along the route.
We won the pitch to create a graphics package for this bold and innovative series created by Telesgop. These included titles, break bumpers and stings all in the style of 1930s travel posters. We also created maps each day to trace the route and locate any significant events along the way. This required being on site as the production made it’s way through Wales. Our branding for the series needed to be adapted for a whole suite of marketing material such as posters, postcards, t-shirts, flags, banners and the website. These were used to engage the communities along the route, who not only watched the programmes but attended the events and supported Ifan
along the way.
