We were approached by the Big foot project to animate scenes in a pair of worldwide commercials showcasing their range of drawing products. The theme of one of these commercials was ‘Grow with us’ and showed children of increasing age using increasingly sophisticated products from the range to fire their imagination. Our task was to animate their drawings which convey each child’s latent ambition. For example, one child is drawing a house and the animation expands that world eventually introducing blueprints of an impressive building suggesting they might become an architect. An older child is drawing a rocket and we follow it’s trajectory through the stars portraying his possible future in the aerospace industry. We worked closely with illustrator Adam Fisher ensuring the production had complete control over the drawing styles and quality.
