‘Wild things’ is produced by Cwmni da and was commissioned by Channel 4. The programme explores Britain’s dramatically changing wildlife by examining what grows where and why and how this has changed over time. We won a competitive pitch to produce a raft of GFX for the show. We filmed and produced the titles and break bumpers. We created a range of specific CGI shots which included bespoke microscopic scenes, composited graphics into tracked footage and augmented specific shots. A comprehensive map solution was also developed to help illustrate the wealth of scientific data which was generated for each programme. These were given an earthier ‘in the field’ look to suit the tone set by the intrepid presenters.
